FROM BEING CUT TO 4A PROVINCIAL CHAMPION
“I went from getting cut and doubting myself to becoming a key player and achieving things I didn’t think were possible.”

Before I started training, I loved basketball and took it seriously, but I felt like I wasn’t improving the way I wanted to. Making the Grade 8 team felt like progress, but being cut in Grade 9 was a major setback that affected my confidence. I realized my skill level, consistency and understanding of the game were not where they needed to be, so I started training with Coach Yaz.

My shooting became much more consistent under pressure, my ball handling improved, and I became quicker and more confident making moves. The biggest change was my basketball IQ—I began understanding spacing, timing, reading defenders and making smarter decisions.

I made the Junior team and played a major role, earned the Most Improved Player award, helped my team place third at South Fraser Championships and qualified for Provincials. In Grade 11, I moved to the senior team that won South Fraser and the 4A Provincial Championship.

The training is detailed, realistic and built around skills that translate directly into games. Coach Yaz pushed me to work hard while supporting me through the mental battles I faced. I recommend this program to anyone serious about basketball and real results.

BRONZE & SILVER TO BC TOP DIVISION
“After only a few sessions, my coach gave me the green light to become a shooter.”

My biggest challenges before training with Coach Yaz were shooting consistency and ball handling. After just a few sessions, both improved significantly. My coach—who previously did not let me shoot three-pointers in games—gave me the green light to become a shooter.

I became more confident bringing the ball up the floor and making moves. After only a couple of months, I went from a team playing at the bronze and silver levels to a team competing in BC’s top division, and I tried out for the provincial team. In high school, I became a key player, often playing the entire game and serving as the main scorer.

What makes Coach Yaz different is his passion and focus on real game situations. He supports me not only in basketball, but also in the weight room, mental game and nutrition. Every session is high-intensity and well structured, with feedback during and after every drill. He often stays to train extra with me.

I recommend this program because results show quickly, and Coach Yaz genuinely cares about every athlete’s short- and long-term progress and development.

“The coaching can actually be applied in games, and the constructive feedback helps him continue to grow.”
READ KAVIN'S FULL STORY

Before training with Yaz, one of Kavin’s biggest challenges was shooting consistently under pressure. He struggled to stay confident and make shots consistently during games.

Since starting training, we have seen a big improvement in his ball handling and overall confidence. He is more comfortable creating plays and handling pressure in games.

He made his school basketball team and has competed at nationals with his club teams. What makes Yaz’s training different is the coaching style and attention to detail. The work can be applied in games, and the constructive feedback helps him keep growing.

We would definitely recommend this program—and already have recommended Yaz to other players—because the training helps athletes grow and sharpen every area of their game.
